SOANE ARCHITECTURE SUMMER SCHOOL

We developed the first architecture Summer School for children at Sir John Soane’s Museum. Designed for ages 11-13, the week long course consisted of site visits, drawing and making on the theme of texture, ornamentation and order , both in the museum itself and in a wider architectural context. Children worked together to design new façades for Soane’s buildings at 12 and 14 Lincoln’s Inn Fields. The workshop culminated a collective physical plaster cast model of their proposals.
